9T Dumper (ROPS+)

Our Thwaites 9T Dumper (ROPS+) is a heavy-duty site earthmover built for groundworks, civils and construction teams moving large volumes of spoil and aggregate across demanding sites. A 3.6L Deutz turbo diesel engine powers the machine, delivering 55.4kW (74bhp) and 405Nm of torque while meeting Stage V emissions standards without the need for AdBlue.

What sets this dumper apart is its ROPS+ protection system. The wrap around, high-tensile steel frame and pull down roll bar place the operator in the safest possible position should a roll over occur. A triple lock motion inhibiter means the machine will start but will not drive until the operator is seated, the seat belt is fastened and the roll bar is locked in place, so risk is reduced before the machine even moves.

ROPS+ gives operations the choice to run an open cabbed machine on site while still meeting the enhanced safety standards modern sites require, making it a flexible option where a fully cabbed machine is not needed.

This 9T Dumper offers a 4,600 litre heaped skip capacity and 9,000kg max safe load, handling high-volume muck away and material moving without compromise. The front tip design places the full load exactly where it is needed, keeping loading and unloading fast. Hydrostatic transmission gives operators smooth control at up to 25km/h, while an inclinometer supports safe operation and tipping on uneven ground.

Front and rear cameras feed a dashpanel monitor for all-round visibility, and amber and green LED beacons keep the machine visible on site.
