About WHC Tewkesbury
In 2010 we invested in a large, fully equipped second depot in Tewkesbury which opened January 2012 to fulfil local requests for hire equipment. WHC Hire Services Ltd was originally established in Worcester back in 1997. The Tewkesbury depot has become the head office and centre of operations for the company. We pride ourselves on our quality of service and products supplied. Our range of plant now goes from 1T diggers to 13T excavators, up to 9T dumpers, up to 14M Telehandlers, lighting towers, rollers, groundskeeping equipment, landscaping and much more.
We have one of the most up to date fleets available and are constantly reviewing our plant and equipment, along with a great team of experienced, knowledgeable and professional managers and employees who make sure that machines are available where and when they are needed so you never lose time waiting for a machine to arrive.
WHC has pioneered the integration of health and safety practices into its every day work and this has been recognised not only with success in the ‘Excellence in Health and Safety Management’ award but also with silver and now consecutive gold awards in the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety awards every year since 2010. This includes hand, arm and whole-body vibration level testing and reporting. Along with the testing of its own equipment in it’s purpose built testing facility.
We have also been recognised by IOSH for Innovation this related to our unique system for securing excavators to trailers “Track Lock”.
