WHC Hire Services Joins The Herefordshire And Worcestershire Chamber Of Commerce
In an era where local collaboration and community investment have never been more important, WHC Hire Services are delighted to announce that we have officially become a member of the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce for 2026. This landmark moment is a huge reflection of our commitment to the local communities and businesses we continue to support and serve across the region. A commitment we have honoured for almost 30 years.
Since our first depot opened in 1997 in the heart of Worcester, WHC Hire Services has grown into a multi-county operation, with our HQ based in Tewkesbury and a dedicated depot in Chipping Norton serving Oxfordshire. Today, we operate a fleet of over 1,000 pieces of equipment spanning from 24-tonne excavators right through to hand power tools. Whilst our three depots are rooted across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire, our equipment and services reach clients and contractors nationwide, ensuring that wherever it takes to get the job done.
For nearly three decades, we have remained dedicated to providing our clients with the highest standard of machinery, backed by a highly skilled and reliable service. Something we still stake our name on today. We hold firm to the belief that the quality of equipment our clients hire should reflect the reputation of their own business. We take enormous pride in the quality and care of every piece of machinery we hire out, because we understand that for our clients on site, reliability is not an option. It is essential.
Those values of passion, quality, care, and commitment have carried us through the years. They are the same values that drew us to the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, an organisation that plays a pivotal role in championing regional businesses and fostering a thriving local economy. Something we are proud to now be a part of.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Kanwal Suleman for the warm welcome extended to us upon joining, along with the many connections we have already had the pleasure of meeting. The warmth we have received has only reaffirmed why being part of a strong, people-focused business community matters so much to us.
For a business with a dedicated team who live and work in the communities we serve, this membership holds real meaning. We are also delighted to be welcomed into the Chamber’s brand new construction forum, where we look forward to sharing our experience and expertise built over nearly 30 years in the industry. We hope to contribute meaningfully to discussions that help shape and support construction businesses across our region, whilst continuing to grow our own network of clients and suppliers in the process.
As we look ahead, this membership marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for WHC Hire Services. We remain as committed as ever to delivering the quality and reliability our clients depend on, whilst playing an increasingly active role in the local business community we are proud to call home.
MD James Clutterbuck said,
“Ever since I founded WHC Hire Services nearly 30 years ago, we quickly established a level of trust with local tradesmen and, soon enough, national contractors. This year, we are excited to extend our network as we embark on this new chapter with the Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to collaborating with more local businesses to strengthen the local economy and support sustainable growth for years to come.”
