We also make sure that machines are available where and when they are needed so that customers never lose a day due to waiting for a machine to arrive. This year we’ve been busy upgrading and extending our fleet and our delivery vehicles; demonstrating our commitment to delivering the very best to you.
New Thwaites Dumpers
It seems everyone is looking for muck shifting machinery. Demand for our site dumpers is increasing – including machines that can work on confined sites. We’ve now taken delivery of 14 new Thwaites dumpers including 5 x 1-tonne models, a 2-tonne model and 8 of the popular 3-tonne models. You can view our range of dumpers for hire here.
New Bomag Rollers
As part of our fleet upgrade programme we’ve been replacing our existing rollers with new ones – and we’ve also taken the opportunity to increase the size of the roller fleet. From single pedestrian drum vibration rollers to twin drum ride on rollers, we have all sizes to meet your needs.
New Kubota Mini
Our gleaming new KX016-4 arrived on site in January and joins our growing fleet of mini excavators. With the power and capacity to match higher end machines, this mini has been designed to work anywhere; from roadsides and restricted-space sites to large scale construction sites. It can be easily towed from site to site on a trailer and boasts a boom cylinder above the boom for the ultimate protection from site damage.
Trio of new delivery vehicles
You may have seen our drivers out and about in our new DAF CF400 Day Cab 32 tonne lorry. This truck accommodates our larger deliveries whilst our new Fiat Ducato 4.5 tonne truck is now being put to use at our Worcester depot for smaller deliveries. Completing the line-up is a new 12 tonne vehicle arriving in June which ensures our fleet is about as up-to-date as you can get.
High reach, high visibility
The brand of choice for telehandler hirers, our new JCB 535-140 Hi-Viz Loadall has proved immensely popular since we took delivery in February. Delivering 3.5 tonnes capacity and 14m of reach the machine is ideal for site work. A major step forward in visibility, particularly the three-quarter view to the rear of the machine, has been achieved through a reduction of 235mm in the boom pivot height and a 13% reduction in the overall boom section.
New JCB minis for Worcester Depot
Five JCB 8014CTS mini excavators were delivered to our Worcester depot earlier in the year following requests for a 1.5 tonne machine from local customers. They join their 1.8 tonne stablemate; the JCB 8018CTS that feature an extendable undercarriage for better balance and longer reach.
Small is Beautiful
A very popular part of our range is the smaller tools and we’ve been investing in additions to this range over the last few months too. Among our recent purchases are: 15 x TS410 Stihl saws, 10 x Makita HR4013C 110v breakers, 10 x 4.5″ Metabo grinders, 10 x I/R Air wrenches and ratchets, a PG280 Husqvarna 110 floor grinder, an Arbortech AS170 Allsaw 110V, Long handle hedge cutters, 5 x 2 inch submersible pumps and a host of other tools.
