Golden Honour for WHC Hire Services
With multiple golds for the home nations at the recent Commonwealth Games, we’re delighted to announce that we have followed closely on the heels on athletic success with our very own first gold award for health and safety practices in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Awards.
The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards is the longest-running awards scheme in the UK and receives entries from organisations all over the world to recognise excellence in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
James Clutterbuck, Managing Director, is delighted with the recognition;
“We place great emphasis on our health and safety practices here. From our vibration testing facility to our IOSH accredited Noise at Work scheme we invest both time and resource to ensure both our own employees and our customers benefit from our policies. We’ve won nine silver awards to date and the gold is the icing on the cake. It is the standard that all 2000+ entrants aspire to and demonstrates our sustained commitment over very many years. It’s a fantastic feeling to have achieved this, but we won’t rest on our laurels. Our investment into the safest working practices will continue. It is an important part of the WHC Service DNA. “
The award presentation will take place during a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Headline sponsor of the RoSPA Awards 2018 is NEBOSH – the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health – for the 13th consecutive year.
