Teeing Up For New Hope Children’s Charity Worcester
Sunshine, swings, and a shared sense of community made WHC Hire Services’ first Invitational Golf Day in July 2025 a memorable return to form. Held at the picturesque Tewkesbury Park Golf Club in Gloucestershire, the event marked WHC Hire’s first golf day since before the pandemic — and it didn’t disappoint.
The day kicked off at 10 am, as clients from a wide range of business backgrounds came together with the WHC Hire team for a fun-filled day of collaboration and connection — starting with a hearty breakfast to set the tone for the day.
A swift 18-hole Stableford-style competition followed, played around the stunning parkland course. The day included two prize-winning holes for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, adding an extra element of excitement to the event.
After the round, guests enjoyed a well-dressed evening dinner, followed by a prize-giving ceremony celebrating the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The day concluded with a charity auction in support of New Hope Children’s Charity in Worcester, raising a fantastic £460 to support the charity’s ongoing work.
New Hope is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting families caring for children with disabilities and complex health needs. They provide a unique respite service that gives families much-needed breaks, with the peace of mind that their children are being cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
Beyond the fundraising, the event provided a brilliant opportunity to bring together businesses of all sizes from across the construction and utilities industries. With a healthy dose of competition and a few laughs after “three off the tee,” the day was filled with great energy, networking, and goodwill.

We’re all often so busy managing our own operations that it’s refreshing to connect on a deeper level — with a touch of competitive spirit thrown in. I’d like to personally thank all the clients who attended for making it such a memorable day, and for their generosity in helping us raise a significant sum for the New Hope Children’s Charity.”
