WHC Invests 1.5M in 25 New 6T Excavators from Kubota
WHC Hire is thrilled to announce the release of 25 brand-new 6T excavators from Kubota into our fleet. This latest investment worth 1.5M is a further commitment to our clients in delivering the very best excavating equipment on the market. Already in 2023, WHC has added all new ATV’s, 550kg Tracked Dumpers and petrol log splitters.
The all-new 6T Kubota KX060-5 provides advanced performance, market-leading safety, and comfort for operators. Its engine is a direct injection and fully Stage V-compliant, complete with CRS and DPF, designed to provide high power and low emissions cost-effectively. In addition, the machine offers exceptional reach, force and lifting capabilities of a machine of this size. All are supported by Kubota’s built-in load-sensing hydraulic system, providing smooth operation regardless of the load size. Kubota has also introduced a dozer blade float allowing operators to complete ground finishing work faster.
The machine’s cabin offers spacious and comfortable surrounding to work from. Supported by a double adjustment air suspension seat, air conditioning, 12V output and a 7’ colour LCD panel with jog dial. The KX060-5 provides world-class noise reduction to help protect the operator’s ears as well as provide a more stress-free environment to work in. This is achieved by a metal partition between the cabin and the engine, as well as a thicker floor plate.
In addition, this machine is fitted with the latest advances in operator safety systems including a rearview camera, arm and boom anti-drop values and LED lighting to support night work. A quick hitch and seatbelt alarms, followed by four new down points for safer transportation.
These brand new 6T excavators Kubota’s will be rolling out across all WHC Hire depots throughout 2023.
MD James Clutterbuck said, “Since the birth of WHC, we have always made it our priority to offer our clients the highest-performing equipment on the market. To ensure so, I personally conduct a 210-point assessment on machines from a range of manufacturers focusing on the following key areas. Serviceability, excavator structure and build quality, cab layout and environment, machine operation and safety systems. After a full assessment of the Kubota KX060-5, I found it to be by far the stand-out machine across all aspects of our inspection. I truly believe our customers will benefit from the performance and quality offered from this machine. Yes, it’s a change of colour for us! But we are always keeping our customer’s needs at the heart of our decision-making.”
